Prof. Dr. Dr. dr. Eka J. Wahjoepramono, SpBS, Ph.D
Dean for the Faculty of Medicine, current
Dean of the UPH Faculty of Medicine, joined the UPH in 2001 as a lecturer in Faculty of Medicine. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from University of Diponegoro, Semarang, Indonesia and continued to pursue his Neurosurgical Training degree at University of Padjajaran, Bandung, Indonesia. Chairman of Neuroscience Center Siloam Hospital, dr. Eka J. Wahjoepramono is also a member of many medical society such as President of the Congress Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Society of Neurological Surgeons (PIT PERSPEBSI) 2006 and President elect of The Asian Oceanian International Congress On Skull Base Surgery, 2010-2012. His recent positions are Founder of Indonesia Brain Foundation and President elect of World Academy of Neurological Surgeons, Founder of World Academy of Neurological Surgeons.

Prof. George Mathew, MBBS, MS, MD, FCAMS  

Executive Dean of Medical Education, current


Dr. George Mathew has earned his degrees from the Christian Medical College Vellore (undergraduate and post graduate Medical training), undertook post doctoral Fellowship training in upper GI and Laparoscopic Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia. He continued his postdoctoral research at the University of Adelaide, South Australia; during which time he was awarded the Davis & Geck Prize for the best research paper. Dr. George Mathew joined UPH leaderships in October 2011 as the Executive Dean of UPH Faculty of Medicine. He is also the Executive Director of UPH Medical Sciences Group and the Executive Director of MRIN (Mochtar Riady Institute of Nanotechnology).



Dr. dr. Julius July, SpBS

Associate Dean of Clerkship Program, current


Dr. Julius is a Neurosurgeon, trained in Padjajaran University Bandung for his specialist degree and then went to develop his expertise in the Department of Neurosurgery, Fujita Health University in Nagoya Japan. He also underwent a fellowship training on Neuro-oncology and skullbase from Toronto Western Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. He received his doctoral degree from Hasanuddin University Makassar in a study on the effect of steroid on aneurismal subarachnoid bleeding. Now he actively held the position of associate dean to help develop the clerkship program of the faculty of medicine.


Prof. Dr. dr. Budhianto Suhadi, Sp.PK(K), M.M.

Associate Dean of Postgraduate Education, current


Prof Budhianto went through his training as a medical doctor and clinical pathology at the Airlangga University Surabaya. He then went to pursue a degree in masters of management at Pelita Harapan University to develop his skills as an administrator. He also received consultant title in the field of clincal pathologist and doctor in medical science from the Airlangga University Surabaya. Now he actively developing the post graduate career development of UPH faculty of medicine's graduate, developing programs as diverse as ACLS, ATLS, hospital management masters degree and also doctoral study with Hassanudin University Makassar.  prof. dr. fx budhianto suhadi dr sppkk


Dr. dr. Allen Widysanto, SpP

Vice Dean of Medical Education, current

Dr. Allen is a pulmonologist trained in the University of Indonesia and she has recently finished her doctoral education at Hasanuddin University. She held the position of Vice Dean of Medical Education and has help the faculty of medicine undergoing a great rejuvenation and development.  dr. allen widysanto sp.p


Dr. dr. Vivien Puspitasari, SpS

Vice Dean of Student Affairs, current

Dr. Vivien is a neurologist trained in the University of Indonesia, she actively participate in further neurological training such as Neurobehavior Assessment, EEG Reading, Advanced EEG and Epilepsy, Neurovascular and Musculoskeletal Sonology. She also recently finished her doctoral study from Hasanuddin University Makassar. She is experienced in managing research project as an executive director of the HPEQ project held by Indonesian Higher Education Directorate.  dr. vivien puspitasari


Prof. David Fairholm, MD, Neurosurgeon

Executive Dean of Medical Education, 2007-2014

Prof. David Fairholm is a Neurosurgeon from Canada, he held the position of the Executive Dean of Medical Education for 8 years until his return to Canada. He has been a very great help in leading the development of the faculty core curricullum. He also has been a great role model of clinical teaching and continue to inspire the whole faculty for his method. He is still active within the faculty with an advisory role.  david fairholm

Vice Dean of Student Affairs, 2010-2014

Dr. Anila is a medical doctor who hailed from New Zealand, she held the position of the Vice Dean of Student Affairs in the faculty for many years. She has been a great leader in helping the faculty to manage the vast and diverse student body. She help with developing and managing the office of student's affairs, academic advisors programs, summer enrichment program and also managing student's general life in academic and social settings.
